ANALYSIS

PICK OF THE DAY: (2u) Michigan +3.5 @ -110

No. 19 Michigan @ No. 23 Ohio State, 4:00 PM:

  • Michigan has won 49 of its last 56 day games. Stat courtesy of Statschecker.

The reason we’re backing Michigan.

Michigan will look to bounce back after a loss to Wisconsin.

Zavier Simpson finished with 32 points, six assists and five rebounds, and Franz Wagner added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Wolverines in an 81-74 loss to the Badgers. Michigan entered that game against Wisconsin on a five-game winning streak.

Look for the Wolverines to bounce back in a big way on the road against Ohio State. They will regain their composure and get back to their winning ways. Take Michigan and the 3.5 points in this matchup.

(1u) Louisville -12 @ -110

Virginia Tech @ No. 11 Louisville, 6:00 PM:

  • Louisville has won 20 of its last 21 night games at KFC Yum! Center.

The reason we’re backing Louisville.

Louisville is coming off a tough loss to No. 6 Florida State on Monday night. David Johnson put together a solid game for the Cardinals. He posted 13 points, four rebounds and four assists, and Jordan Nwora chipped in 11 points and eight boards for Louisville in the 82-67 loss.

The Cardinals enter this matchup with an impressive 13-1 record at home this season. Coming off a loss, Louisville will undoubtedly bounce back against an inferior opponent in Virginia Tech. Feel confident rolling with the Cardinals in this matchup.

Take Louisville minus the 12 points here.

(1u) Stanford -1 @ -110

No. 21 Colorado @ Stanford, 6:00 PM:

  • Stanford has won each of its last seven games at Maples Pavilion following a home win.

The reason we’re backing Stanford.

Stanford enters this matchup currently riding a three-game winning streak.

Tyrell Terry finished with a season-high 27 points to go with three rebounds and three steals, and Oscar da Silva contributed 20 points and seven boards for Stanford in an impressive 70-62 win over Utah.

Stanford currently stands at 19 wins on the season. One more win on its resume would put the Cardinal in prime position to make the NCAA Tournament, and if they come away with the upcoming conference tournament title, they would be a lock for the tourney.

This is a big one for Stanford and I feel very confident taking the Cardinal at home in this matchup.
