Stetson vs. Kennesaw State
The mid-major play of the day is the 7-10 (7-7 ATS) Stetson Hatters on the road against the 3-15 (9-6 ATS) Kennesaw State Owls. Stetson has won three of their last four games while Kennesaw has lost their last 13.
Stetson ranks 242nd on offense and 233rd on defense, according to KenPom. Kennesaw ranks 354th on offense and 280th on defense. A key stat for me is Stetson’s 3-point shooting. Stetson ranks 65th in 3 point %. Another key stat is turnovers. Stetson ranks 70th in steal %. Kennesaw turns the ball over a lot, ranking 298th in turnover %.
Both teams are bad, don’t get me wrong. However, Stetson has shown life on offense throughout the year while Kennesaw has not. I expect Guard Rob Perry and Forward Mahamadou Diawara to provide a nice one-two punch and lead Stetson to a win and cover Friday night. Best of luck!

Georgia Tech vs. Clemson
The Yellow Jackets head to Little John Coliseum looking to steal a win and help their NCAA Tournament resume. Clemson is coming off a 78-61 win over ‘Cuse last Friday at home. Tech is coming off a hard-fought loss to Virginia, where they had many chances to win the ball game.
I look at two guys in this matchup that should have huge impacts. Junior guard Michael Devoe and Senior guard Jose Alvarado. These guys will go at you and can fill it up in a hurry.
To compliment these two guards is senior forward Moses Wright, who plays harder than anyone on the floor. After the disappointing blown lead to Virginia late, look for GT to come out firing on all cylinders. Josh Pastner will have these guys fired up looking for a win to help them get in the tourney. Give me the YELLOW JACKETS!
