Watch Drew break down his best bets for Thursday, March 18

Drew gets us started with probably the best matchup of the entire night as two potential 11 seeds, Michigan State and UCLA, face off with a spot in the first round on the line. These are two blue blood programs that aren’t used to having to play their way into the tournament, so there will be a lot of pride on the line as well.

Michigan State’s offense really just runs through one player in forward Aaron Henry. Hery averages 15.3 points per game, as well as 5.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists. He is the only Spartan to average double-digits and is also tied with fellow forward Joey Hauser as the team’s top rebounder.

UCLA has a much more balanced offensive attack with six players putting up more than 10 points per game. Leading the way is sophomore Johnny Juzang with 14 points per contest.

Drew is also bringing us picks from Thursday’s game between No. 3 SMU and No. 2 Boise State in the NIT. The Broncos are just a 1-point favorite, and Drew has his eyes on some value he sees when these two teams meet in the tournament’s nightcap.
