The 11 seed Syracuse Orange meet the 2 seed Houston Cougars Saturday night in the sweet 16 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indy. Cuse is back in the Sweet 16 for the 3rd time in 6 seasons. Houston is trying to reach the Elite 8 for the first time since the Phi Slama Jama days.
Syracuse is backed by Buddy Boeheim who has an absolute clip on him. This guy can catch fire and drill some 3s quick. Buddy gets help from Guerrier, Griffin, and JG3. All of these guys have the ability to pop off from behind the arc on any given night. Houston is backed by Quentin Grimes who can do it all. This guy is the real deal and is league bound. Grimes gets help from Marcus Sasser and Dejon Jarreau and these guys play hard.
Syracuse plays zone forcing teams to beat them on the perimeter. This works well into what Houston does. The Cougars love to pump the 3 ball and do it very efficiently. Cuse has to rely on one of their guys going off for them to win games. Im gonna take the Cougars here to advance to the Elite 8 and win this game by 10+. Roll Cougs!
