First game of the slate Sunday we get the Zags vs. the Creighton Bluejays. We all know how good the Zags are. These guys just beat you in every category. But they haven’t seen much competition this year. They get the 5 seeded Jays in the Sweet 16 and this one may be closer than some think. The Zags are loaded with talent everywhere, including future lottery pick, Jalen Suggs, Corey Kispert, and Drew Timme.
The Jays are backed by point guard Marcus Zegarowski and Mitchell Ballock, who have absolute straps. These guys stroke and can put some points on the board quick. Creighton will have to be firing on all cylinders. I think the Jays come out hungry and may play this one close. Creighton is a solid ball club 1-5 and will give the Zags all they want. Im going to back Creighton and take the points.

Nobody in the tournament, or throughout the season for that matter, has been able to hang with Gonzaga. Gone are the days when the Zags were some upstart mid-major that everyone loved to root for. This is a powerhouse team now every season and they’re running through the competition this year.
Crieghton will probably be the best team has faced, although they already dispatched of Iowa, Virginia, West Virginia and Kansas throughout the regular season. So, can the Bluejays hang around and even give the Zags a run for their money?
