The 1 seed Michigan Wolverines meet the UCLA Bruins in the East Region of the Elite 8 Tuesday night. Michigan is looking to advance to the Final Four for the ninth time. UCLA is looking to go from the First Four out to the Final Four.
UCLA is backed by Kentucky transfer Johnny Juzang who has an absolute clip on him. His sidekick, Jaime Jaquez, has been filling it up as of late as well. UCLA has been red hot from 3 and is coming off a huge win against a very talented Alabama squad. They are in some what of the same situation as Oregon State. UCLA is ran by Mike Cronin, a very good coach.
Michigan is loaded. They are backed by Big Fella Hunter Dickinson standing at 7 foot 1. He has great touch around the rim and is an absolute wagon for everyone. They also have Franz Wagner on the wing with veteran guards Eli Brooks and Mike Smith. Michigan has seen huge production in the place of Livers from Chaundee Brown, who kind of reminds me of JR Smith.
Michigan is solid 1-7. These guys can get after and play hard for their coach, Juwan Howard.
I will look for Michigan to bully the Bruins on their way to the Final Four as they are hard nosed and well coached. Hunter Dickinson is going to be a problem in the paint for the Bruins as he has been all year. Im going to back the Wolverines heading to the Final Four and to cover the 6.5 point spread. RIDE MICHIGAN!
