College Basketball Picks: 2 Best Bets for Friday's Games

It is time to continue the hot streak in college basketball today, as we will see a small slate this Friday. There is only one top twenty-five team in action all night, but I did find a couple of games that we can get some great value on and continue the hot streak with.

Friday's College Basketball Picks

Harvard vs. Brown Prediction

Click Here for Harvard vs Brown Odds

The first game I want to dive into will be a battle between the Brown Bears and the Harvard Crimson. Brown enters this game playing to the tune of an 8-8 record overall, while Harvard will enter play sporting a record of 8-4 on the season. Harvard is led by forward Chris Ludlum, who has been their best player this season, averaging 16.7 points per game. Brown has been average all season, showing sparks of being a legit contender in the Ivy League conference. Harvard will look to start conference play hot as the favorite tonight, while Brown will look to play spoiler on the road in this game. Brown is led in scoring by Kino Lilly Jr, who is putting up 12.8 points per game. Harvard is currently a minus three-point favorite in this game tonight. I will be backing Harvard on the money line tonight in a game I see being tight, but Harvard having the upper hand and pulling out a close game. Harvard matches up very well with Brown, especially at the wing position, and I think their defense will show up and be better than brown here tonight. Harvard has also been an outstanding home team this season and will get another crack at it on their home court tonight, where I expect them to be great. I love this spot for the crimson, so I will be riding them tonight in a great spot.

Georgetown vs. Marquette Prediction

Georgetown vs. Marquette Odds

The second play I am turning to that will give us another sweep will be a matchup between the Marquette Golden eagles and the Georgetown Hoyas. Marquette is coming off a dominant blowout winner over fellow big East schools in providence. Georgetown will look to cool off the golden eagles in this game tonight, and they will have a tall task doing so against this Marquette team who is feeling good after their win over the friars. Georgetown has shown flashes of being a good team this season, but the issue for them falls on the defensive end of the court as they have allowed opposing teams 73 points per game. I am going back to the favorite road here, something I usually do not do, but I think this line is telling us the tale in this game tonight. These teams on paper match up fairly similar, and yet Georgetown is at home and still a dog? I am willing to roll the dice on Marquette, who I do believe holds the advantage on the defensive end and is the better-coached team in this game.
