SD State vs Colorado Prediction

SD State vs Colorado Odds

The first play I want to get into will be a battle between the Colorado State Rams and the San Diego State Aztecs. The Rams enter play with a Perfect record of 11-0 and will look to build on this record tonight. San Diego State enters play playing to the tune of a 9-3 record and winners of four games in a row. This is a pivotal game early in the season for the Mountain West Conference. These teams are both the favorites to win the conference so expect this to be a competitive game from start to finish.

The play I am turning to in this game will be to back the San Diego State Aztecs on the short money line. I love the fact that we are getting them at this line at home in conference play. I believe that San Diego state matches up very well in this game with the style of play Colorado State plays with. The Aztecs are one of the best defenses in all of the nation when clicking right, allowing opponents just 58.2 points per game. This is an outstanding defense who will have the home crowd behind them in this game today. I expect a big game out of transfer, Matt Bradley for the Aztecs as he will have to step up and be the best player on the court for them tonight.

Texas vs Oklahoma State

Texas vs Oklahoma State odds

The second play I am turning to will be a big 12 affair between the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Longhorns entered this season looking to compete for a national championship as they were very active in the offseason. The Longhorns landed star guard Marcus carr from the transfer portal and star Timmy Allen. The Longhorns also brought in head coach Chris beard to take things over and lead this team this season. The Longhorns have had an average start to their season for what the expectations are. Texas had a blowout loss to the Gonzaga Bulldogs, and a hard-fought loss against the Seton Hall Pirates.

Oklahoma State has quietly been struggling this season with a record of just 7-5. This is a team who we knew coming into the year would struggle at times, but they have not looked impressive at all during the season. Cade Cunningham, the best player in the nation a season ago, went pro leaving big shoes to fill. The star of the team now is Avery Anderson, who will have to be great if Oklahoma state wants to pull off the upset tonight. I am taking Texas in this game at -2. I typically don’t bet heavy public favorites, but I can’t pass this play up as I feel they simply are the much better team. Texas will be able to shut down Anderson and force other guys to step up and beat them in this game. Texas, on the offensive end, is also the much more talented team that will be able to control the pace and get to the basket. I believe this could get ugly in a Texas runaway win.
