The Alabama Crimson Tide will face off with the Mississippi State Bulldogs in an SEC battle. The Tide is coming off a tough home loss to one of the best teams in all of the nation in Auburn. The Tide has been going thru a cold spell on their season after a couple of big wins, including a win over Gonzaga. This is a very talented Alabama bunch who will look to turn the tide back in their favor today. Mississippi State comes into this game tonight looking for a massive resume-building win. The Bulldogs represent an overall record of 11-4 on the season, and this win would be huge to improve their chances in march. They were not expected to make much noise entering the season but they have surprised many and been good to kick off the year. Guard Iverson Molinar has been outstanding for the Bulldogs scoring nearly eighteen points per game while also being the team's assist leader, dropping 4.5 per game. The Tide has been led by guard Jaden Shackelford who has scored 16.1 points per game this season. I am turning to Alabama in this game, and here is why. The Tide is coming off a couple of bad losses, and this is a massive game for them in conference play. While this is a big game for Mississippi State, I am willing to trust the more talented team to bounce back and roll in this spot. This team has enough experience that I think they will be fine playing on the road. I will take the dog in the Crimson Tide.

The second play I am turning to will be a late-night battle between a pair of Pac 12 teams. The Oregon Ducks will face off against the USC Trojans. After an underwhelming start to their season, the Ducks are coming off a pair of impressive wins. Oregon went into UCLA and knocked off the Bruins. Oregon will look to keep up their hot play against the USC tonight. The play I am turning to will be to back USC on the first half. I think Oregon goes cold tonight playing their third straight road game against a much more talented bunch in USC. I think USC holds a large advantage at the guard position that they can exploit tonight. Isaiah Mobley will also be an X factor in this game as I question if Oregon will have someone who can slow down the big man. I believe we are getting a great line here on USC in the first half, and I want to take advantage of the short line. I will ride the home favorite here to jump out to a hot start in this one.
