The first game I am looking at is going to be an SEC showdown between the LSU Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide. LSU comes into this game looking like one of the best teams in all of the nation, led by head coach Will Wade. The Tigers enter play ranked number thirteen and supporting a record that has just two losses. The Tide comes into play with an underwhelming season so far. A team that has been ranked pretty much all season sees themselves unranked now and looking for answers. The Tide have struggled of late, losing their last three games and all being conference games. This is undoubtedly the biggest game of the season for Alabama, who needs a confidence win at home tonight. I am going with the Tide but on the short line in the first half at -2. I know LSU is the hotter and better team on paper, but the line is telling the tale in this one. I also love to bet on desperate teams who are at home, and that will be the case tonight with the Alabama Crimson Tide. In my opinion, the Tide are still the best six-loss team in the nation and will come out fired up and prepared in this game in front of their home crowd. This is a team with too much NBA talent not to turn the corner, and it starts tonight against their rival in LSU.

The second play I am going with will concern a pair of SEC teams once again. This time it will be John Calipari's Kentucky Wildcats meeting up with the Texas A&M Aggies. The Wildcats come into this game tonight looking like one of the best teams in the nation, playing to the tune of a 14-3 record overall. Kentucky had a lot of kids from the transfer portal combined with their normal high-class recruiting it has been a perfect storm so far. A&M enters play actually with the better record as they sit at 15-2 overall. The Aggies come in rolling on a hot win streak and will look to keep up their good play tonight. They will have perhaps their toughest test of the season with this Kentucky team. I am going to back the home dog here tonight, laying so many points. I can not deny Kentucky is the better team, but Texas A&M has shown they're a team who can compete every night and play terrific on defense. I think the pace of this game will favor the underdog as Texas A&M will look to use the home crowd and turn this into a rock fight.
