Colorado vs. USC Prediction: Can the Trojans Finally Get Revenge Against Colorado?

Pac 12 action tonight with the 15th ranked Trojans visiting the Buffaloes. In the bet you didn't know category, the Colorado Buffaloes have beaten USC 7 times in a row! It was 2018, the last time USC beat Colorado, and it was in Colorado, and USC was laying 2.5, almost the same line as today. But we go back to last year when Colorado knocked out USC from the tournament in Las Vegas by a slam from D'Shawn Schwartz with 3.3 seconds left to knock them out. Many of the guys are still here from that loss and trust us, USC coaches have reminded them about that game.

Colorado vs. USC Prediction

Like many schools, USC had the whole COVID issue affect them. They went 19 days between games until finally they played at California on January 6th and won. After that, something that doesn't usually happen they had to play three games in 5 days traveling up the coast to play Stanford and then going to Oregon St and a smoking hot Oregon team. The loss to Stanford was a shocker, but they had an awful shooting night. Then they pounded the Beavers but had no legs for Oregon. You could tell right away as they were down double digits and never recovered against a team that shot 50 percent. USC is ranked. They started the year 13-0, and a few days off will help as these kids never play three games in 5 days in the regular season. The Trojans are the better team. There is no question there as they are 33rd shooting almost 48% a game, and they are 7th in rebounding, a massive advantage with a more experienced team getting more possessions and easy putbacks hence why they shoot so well. On defense, USC gives up only 30.8% shooting on three-pointers, and the Buffaloes are one of the worst at three-pointers, shooting 32%, ranked 260th in the country. The Trojan's strengths are Buffaloe's weaknesses, and they have more experience as they start all juniors and seniors, while Colorado has nine freshmen on their team and very few upperclassmen.

The Buffaloes have played a very weak schedule so far this year, and the only good teams they played were ranked UCLA, Arizona, and Tennessee. They lost all three by double digits. This is a young team still learning, and they have no strengths as offensively, they are ranked 100th or worse in every category and defensively almost the same. However, if you stop Jabari Walker, you should beat the Buffaloes, and USC has that guy in Mobley to do it. USC and their three-headed monster of Mobley, Ellis, and Peterson have added transfer Chevez Goodwin who has been playing great recently, and they do not want to lose another game, especially when this is a Tier A game. The Buffaloes are only 1-6 ATS after an ATS win (beat Arizona St. last game), and the road team has covered 4 of the previous 5 in the series. We feel this number is too low and gives too much credit to Colorado being at home. USC is the better, more experienced team and has all the motivation it needs to beat up the Buffaloes tonight. We will gladly lay a bucket tonight with the Trojans as we feel a pounding of the Buffaloes coming. Tonight we are all Trojan men, so lay it and let's ride the easy W.
