The Bruins come into this game ranked as the number seven team in the nation sporting an overall record of 13-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats enter play as the third-ranked team in the country with a 16-1 record to this point in the season. UCLA has owned the head-to-head over the last few seasons, so Arizona will look to flip the script tonight as the road team.

The Wildcats have been led by a future NBA pick in Benedict Mathurin. Mathurin has been one of the best players in all of the nation, giving him a lot of national attention, and many think he will be a lottery pick in the upcoming NBA draft. UCLA is coming off a season where they were able to make a run towards the final four and nearly knocked off Gonzaga to get to the national championship. This is a UCLA team that entered the season ranked top five with very high expectations led by head coach Mick Cronin. They are led by star guard Johnny Juzang who is scoring nearly twenty points per game. These are two teams who have a legitimate chance to win the National Championship this season, making this game so intriguing. The Bruins come into this one as a two-point home underdog tonight. 

The play I am turning to is going to be back the Arizona Wildcats at the minus two-line, and here is why. This is a huge game for Arizona as UCLA has been a team that has owned Arizona the last few years as UCLA has won the last five meetings against the Wildcats. The second reason is let’s look at this line. UCLA is the home team, yet they are giving a few points, why? This is a classic trap line to me, and I believe we take the road team who is going to be very hungry to get a win tonight and end the UCLA run.

I think that Arizona matches up tremendously well with UCLA tonight and holds the athletic advantage at most positions. This is a great UCLA team, I do not doubt that, but this is a great spot to fade this great team tonight. I expect a huge game from the Wildcats in this spot tonight and for them to win this game fairly easily. I am pumped up to watch these two great teams go at it tonight on the late-night game!
