Duke enters play sporting an overall record of 17-3 on the campaign led by future NBA lottery pick in the form of Paolo Banchero. The native of Seattle has been as advertised this season, scoring 17.6 points per game to lead all Blue Devil scorers. Duke has also had some outstanding contributions by junior forward Wendell Moore Jr, scoring nearly fifteen points per game while ripping down 5.5 rebounds.

Duke has been playing some great basketball, winning five games in a row and losing just one game in the entire month of January. Notre Dame comes into this game hopeful to make a push towards March Madness. This is a very talented roster as head coach Mike Brey said he believes this is one of his more talented teams in the past few seasons. Notre Dame enters play with a 14-6 record that includes some big wins during the year, most notably a victory over a top-five team in the Kentucky Wildcats. This is a huge game for their resume tonight, facing off with the dominant Duke Blue Devils team. Notre Dame has a lot of talent on this roster, but freshman guard Blake Wesley is the most NBA-ready guy. Wesley has been outstanding this season, scoring fifteen points per game, and is slated to be a first-round pick in the NBA draft next season. The line is currently -5.5 in favor of Duke.

I am going to be backing the home team getting the five and a half points. I think this line is a steal at home. In my opinion, Notre Dame is a tournament team, but they need a huge conference win like this game tonight. I believe Notre Dame matches up well in this spot and can find advantages in the paint using their size. This is a team that has a lot of shooting on the outside, so if they can get into the paint and create open shots for these shooters, this could be a game they win outright. I believe the environment in South Bend will be electric tonight, which will be a big advantage for Notre Dame. This is a great Duke team, but they are a very young Duke team, so I think these types of environments are tough places to back them with five and a half points. I am excited to kick back and watch this ACC showdown tonight between the Blue Devils and the Irish. I want you to all keep an eye on Blake Wesley in this one tonight on a national stage. I will be sprinkling some on the money line tonight for Notre Dame, but I think they will cash this spread with ease.
