Central Arkansas has been somewhat of a covering machine this season but specifically in the first half of games. This season, they are 7-2 ATS in the first half of their conference games and have covered a majority of those by a wide margin. In this matchup they will face a Kennesaw St team who has made significant improvements over the past few seasons as they used to be known as one of the bottom 20 teams in America but that is not the case anymore. With that being said, I think this spread is a little too high as I don't think KSU should be 12.5/13-point favorites against anyone, let alone a team like Central Arkansas who has been solid at covering spreads this year. KSU has also been struggling as of late as well as they are only 1-4 in their last 5 games and have only led at halftime in one of those contests. Kennesaw State has seen an improvement in their offense this season, but defense has still been a struggle for them as they are ranked 259th in adjusted defensive efficiency, 328th in defensive effective field goal percentage, 309th in defensive 2-point percentage, and 314th in defensive 3-point percentage so they are bad on that end. UCA isn't a team who is going to light it up on offense, but they play at a very fast pace and can take advantage in transition. I think this spread is too high and due to UCA's strong presence in the first halves of games this season, I am rolling with Central Arkansas 1H +6.5 -105 (Bodog)

Tulane has been one of the better stories of the AAC this year as their program has made tremendous strides compared to where they used to be. This season they are 3rd in the AAC with a 7-4 record and have 3 players averaging over 14 points per game so they don't rely on just one player for offense. They go on the road to take on a Memphis team who has had their struggles but is playing better lately as they have gone 3-0 in their last 3 games including an impressive 28-point victory over UCF. This season Memphis has been plagued by turnovers as they are ranked 348th (10th to last) in the country in offensive turnover percentage. Tulane is ranked 45th in the nation in defensive turnover percentage and I think Memphis will struggle to take care of the ball against a very active Tulane defense. Tulane is also very improved on offense as they are ranked 101st in adjusted offensive efficiency, 41st in 3-point percentage, and 17th in lowest turnover rate. Two contrasting styles on offense as Memphis is very careless with the ball and Tulane almost always works to get a quality shot. I think this spread is a bit too high and given Memphis's consistency issues half to half, I am rolling with Tulane full game spread at +10 +101 (LowVig) as I think the Green Wave can keep this game close.
