It doesn't get any easier than an outright dog yesterday. Games can change that fast as Houston couldn't miss early but it came down to free throws and Houston couldn't hit them as predicted. Tonight we go to Big Ten country as Purdue, number three in the country is fighting for a number one seed in the tournament and fighting the hated Wolverines in Michigan tonight. The Boilermakers have lost three games this year by a combined, I repeat combined 10 points. Those three losses were at Rutgers by two (and Rutgers has proven they are legit especially after last nights comeback over Ohio St), against Wisconsin by five and finally a three-point road loss at in-state rival Indiana.

This team is hands down one of the five best teams in the country and it starts with the best guard-center combo in the country. Jaden Ivey might be the best player in the Big 10 and they have the biggest man in Zach Edey and together this team goes as far as they go.

Purdue is number one in the country at defensive rebounding giving up only 24.9 a game and they have five guys who get over four rebounds a game. Purdue wins with offense. It's that simple a seven-foot-four big man, a star shooting over 48 percent but how about this they have seven guys shooting over 47 percent and eight guys over 40 percent from the 3 point line.

This team scores in bunches at 84.5 a game 4th in the country, and almost 51% from the field and 41% from the 3 point line both 3rd in the country. This team has scored over 80 in the last 6 and 8 out of the last 9. When a  team consistently drops 80 it's hard to stop them especially when the other team struggled to get 58 in their last game. 

Michigan started the season ranked in the top five in the country, now they aren't in the top five in their own conference. If this team makes the tournament then Juwan Howard should win coach of the year because this team is 12-9 and because of COVID has five games in 11 days.

They are playing number three Purdue after barely escaping Penn St, and then you have a pissed off Ohio St rivalry game, and at Iowa and Wisconsin two ranked teams and we won't even add that after that it's Rutgers, Illinois, Michigan St and Iowa and Ohio St again.

We don't think Michigan ends the year over .500 with that schedule as there is no easy game on that list. This team is led by big man Hunter Dickinson but I'm really not impressed by him. He doesn't play down low and was actually surprised to see he has such good stats this year. This team has been alternating wins and losses but even when they win it's one point over an awful Penn St and by six over a bottom feeder in Nebraska and a two-point win over Northwestern (yuck). This team isn't good and is nowhere near the class of Purdue. 

These teams just played five days ago so not much should change. First off, the final score is a joke. It was a double-digit lead pretty much the whole game and Purdue was up nine with 25 seconds left so that final score isn't the real score.

Next, we see that Michigan shot 56 percent which is nine percent above their average and Dickinson had his best game of the year and I assure you Purdue changes that tonight. Edey and Ivey had more rebounds than the whole starting five for Michigan so we see a game that was a blowout and that's with Purdue shooting 13 percent less than their average from the 3 point line.

Better 3 point shooting, holding Dickinson under 28 tonight and with Michigan knowing their season is going nowhere and Purdue is fighting Duke and Kentucky for the last number one seed this is a TV statement game.

We will lay the -3 available if you can't get the 3 buy it to -3 but that is the line and that's what we are going with. Purdue really won by nine in the last game so we are predicting a nine-point win tonight. Lay it with the Boilermakers and after they win have one to enjoy the win and the cash that comes with it.
