What a beautiful slate we have on this Tuesday night, and I am fired up for college basketball tonight! We have tons of action across the board, including some big-time conference games concerning top 25 teams.

The first game I want to dive into will be a battle between the Villanova Wildcats and the Providence Friars. The Friars have been my most profitable team to bet on this NCAAB season. They have taken the Big East by storm, recording an overall record of 21-2 and currently slated to be a number three seed in March Madness.

The experience of this team and great head coaching led by Ed Cooley has been the recipe for success. Indiana transfer Al Durham has been outstanding for the Friars this year, along with center Nate Watson who has led them in scoring. For the Wildcats, it has been a really good season. They sit a half-game behind Providence for first in the Big East, so tonight’s winner will be the number one seed in the Big East. Veteran guard Collin Gilsepe has been great, along with guards Justin Moore and Jermaine Samuels.

This is a typical Villanova team led by future hall of fame coach Jay Wright. They play the right way and compete in every game they play in. Villanova is 19-6 overall and winners of three in a row. There is a good chance this game will decide the Big East. The play I am going with tonight will be to back 

Villanova at -4. Providence will be a public dog tonight as most will see a 21-2 record and run with the points. I understand that, but this is a team that is due for a bad night, and I think Nova is the team to force it. Villanova is being a bit undervalued here as I think they are still the superior team. The way Villanova likes to play matches up very well against the Friars style. I think Villanova is going to force Providence into shooting the ball from deep and give extra attention to their big men. I love the road team here tonight and will be riding with the Cats.

The second play to give us a nice 2-0 mini sweep will be a matchup between the Kentucky Wildcats and the Tennessee Volunteers. Tennessee comes into this game led by hall of fame coach Rick Barnes sporting an overall record of 18-6 on the season and 9-3 in conference play.

The Wildcats enter play 10-2 in conference play and an overall record of 21-4, good for being the fourth-ranked team in the nation. There is a lot of star power between the two teams tonight, and a Tennesse win could give them life to win an SEC title. These two teams played already this season in a game in Lexington that was won by the Wildcats 107-79.

It wasn’t really much of a game, more so just a blowout. Freshmen TyTy Washington went off in that contest scoring a game-high 28 points. I am backing Tennessee here on the short money line tonight at home. I love the fact that they got blown out last game because revenge will be on their minds here tonight! This will be an electric atmosphere here at home, which should cause some issues for this Kentucky team. I love this Tennessee team. Who is typically one of the best defensive teams in all of the nation. I think they come well prepared and even up the season series tonight with a big home win.
