Arkansas vs. Tennessee Prediction: Bank on the Razorbacks to Get It Done
Today we go to SEC country, one of the hottest places that no one is talking about. The coach has been coaching with his shoulder in a sling and even got his shirt ripped off when they beat #1 Auburn. The team we are talking about is #23 Arkansas, which has won 10 out of 11 games with that one loss, a 1-point road loss at Alabama. Nothing to cry about there. Today in Fayetteville, for your viewing pleasure on ESPN, they face the #16 Tennessee Volunteers off their biggest win of the year at home against #4 Kentucky. Tennessee has won 5 in a row and 8 out of 9 with their only loss, a 1-point loss at Texas. Nothing to cry about there either. They are two of the hottest teams no one is talking about. This game should be good!

Arkansas vs. Tennessee Prediction
This is a massive game for seeding in the SEC tournament as both want a bye. The Vols are third, and the Razorbacks are fourth. These teams play the same way as they are guard-oriented teams who don't have big men. Tennessee showed they could beat Kentucky and shut down their big man while Arkansas is led by JD Notae, one of the leading scorers in the SEC, and the hot Stanley Umude coming off a 23 point team-leading night against Missouri, who they blew out from beginning to end. As we said, these teams are as close to mirror images as you get as both are within 4 points of each other offensively and defensively.
The big difference in this game won't be the numbers. It will be where this game is being played. We saw how crazy it got for Auburn a few weeks ago. Well, it will be just as crazy for this one because this means so much to the Hogs. They end the year with good Florida and LSU teams, the #4 Wildcats, and a rematch with the Vols. This is one of the toughest schedules left in the SEC, so they have to win this game if they want a bye. Arkansas is 14-1 at home with the one loss in an embarrassing game they blew against Vanderbilt of all teams. This team plays differently at home, as all the stats show, and this game will be rocking, and we expect the Hogs, JD, and Stanley to deliver.
Tennessee, as we mentioned, is in a bad spot. They just beat Kentucky in a game they had circled for weeks. They don't have a tough schedule to end the year with two cream puffs and Auburn and Arkansas at home. Here is the key: Tennessee has played three ranked teams on the road in the SEC. We know about Kentucky as they got blown out by 28 in a dominant performance. Before that, it was a 5 point loss at Alabama and an 8 point loss at LSU. They just don't beat good road teams, and they are only 500 on the road. Today, the home court with the way these teams are evenly matched will be the difference.
Arkansas is 6-0 off a win ATS, which they are today. They have won their last five as a favorite, and this is a favorite-dominated series. Tennessee shoots a lot of three-pointers, so if they are off, this game ends fast. While Arkansas likes to drive and get free-throws, and they are a good FT shooting team, almost 100 spots better than the Vols. I would trust a team that drives and gets fouls at home versus a team off their biggest win of the year that relies heavily on the 3. This game will be a war, but we feel the Hogs can continue the home dominance, and Tennessee can continue losing to good ranked teams on the road. We are predicting a 5- 7 point home win for the Hogs. So woo pig sooie Razorbacks, get your red on, and let's get some green and enjoy some bacon after the W!
