Miami vs. Virginia Prediction: Trust the Hurricanes to Roll
College basketball returns on Saturday, and what a beautiful slate we have to hop into. This is my favorite time of the year for college basketball for a few different reasons. The first is that March Madness is approaching and nothing in the world is better than March madness. The second reason is how significant these games are to the teams in action. The game I want to get into will concern two teams who are desperate for a win to boost their March madness resumes. We are heading to the ACC for a matchup between the Virginia Cavaliers led by guard Kihei Clark and the Miami Hurricanes led by guard Kameron McGusty.

Miami vs. Virginia Prediction
Virginia enters play currently not in the tournament according to projections representing a 16-10 record. This is a hard-nosed Virginia team that has a lot of good athletes and defenders, but their struggle this season is on the offensive end. Virginia is averaging just 63 points per game. Miami is currently in March madness, but they will need to continue games they are supposed to win like this one against acc rival Virginia.
Miami has been a surprise to many this season; senior guard Charlie Moore has been a welcoming sight to the team this year, along with Kameron McGusty, who has been the top scorer for the Canes. Miami has been much better than Virginia this season on the offensive end, and they have played surprisingly good defense this season. These two teams played on February 5th in Virginia in a contest that the Cavs won fairly easily.
The pick I am going with in this game tonight will be to back the Hurricanes on the moneyline. I think this is a massive game for both of these teams, but the advantage flips to Miami here being at home with a great environment. I also love the fact that Virginia took the first matchup of the season. I think when teams are fairly evenly matched it can be tough to beat them twice, especially on the road. I am going to trust that Miami's offense will be clicking and playing with too much pace for Virginia to handle. Give me Miami to get the win, and let’s keep things rolling tonight fresh off a sweep!
