UCLA comes into this game as one of the favorites to win the national championship. Last season, Mick Cronin led this team to the Final Four after getting into March Madness via a play-in game. Cronin has turned around the culture of this program, and now they are one of the best teams in the nation.

The best player on the roster comes in the form of junior Johnny Juzang. Juzang, a native of Tarzana, California, has been outstanding this season, scoring 17.5 points per game. Juzang came on strong during UCLA's Final Four run and has not looked back since then. UCLA also features veterans Tyger Campbell and Jamie Jaquez Jr.

Oregon comes into this game looking for a resume-building win over UCLA. Oregon came into the season ranked but struggled badly early on, putting themselves in a hole. Oregon does have some impressive wins this season, including a road win over UCLA and a road win over USC. This is a team that is much better than their record indicates. Oregon had a lot of transfers on this team, including guard Jacob Young and Canada native Quincy Guierer. They took some time to mesh, but they have been much better in the second half of the season.

This is a great spot for UCLA after losing to Oregon earlier in the season at home. I love the style this team plays with and think that they match up very well against Oregon here tonight. This is a big game for UCLA, who is looking to improve its seeding for March Madness and the conference tournament. They will not have a chance to win the regular season Pac-12, due to Arizona having a great year in the conference, but they do have a shot at getting second in the Pac-12. I do not think Oregon will beat UCLA two times this season, as talented as this roster is. I’m not gonna get too cute tonight and just trust the better team to bring it home.
