The Aztecs are currently listed as a last four out team which means they need to win this game tonight. They will have a tall task as they have to knock off the Wyoming Cowboys. The tough part about this one is the Cowboys have not lost on their home court all season long. This was one of the worst teams in all of the nation a season ago, and now they have been one of the toughest teams in all of the nation to beat on their home court.

They have been led by big man Graham Ike. Ike, a Colorado native, has been outstanding this season, scoring 20.7 points per game while ripping down 9.8 rebounds per contest. He is nearly a double-double machine and has been a matchup nightmare for opposing coaches this season. A California transfer has led the Aztecs in the form of Matt Bradley. Bradley is scoring nearly seventeen points per contest and also playing lockdown defense on the other side of the floor. This should be a great game tonight, and if you are unfamiliar with these two teams, I would highly recommend checking this game out.

I am going to back the Aztecs here on the money line. This game reminds me a lot of Boise State vs. Unlv on Saturday when we had Boise state on the money line. The Aztecs are the road team facing a home team who has not lost on their home court all year, and they are still a 1.5 point favorite? The line is off here and in favor of the road team. I imagine Wyoming will be a public darling here getting points which is another reason I love this play. As far as the game, I think San Diego state matches up very well with this Wyoming team.

They are an elite defensive team so they should be able to throw Ike some tough looks and make this the toughest game of the season for Wyoming at home. I like their length and speed on the defensive side, and it will be an X factor in this game tonight. The turnover battle will be a key in this one, and I give the advantage on defense to the Aztecs.

This game could turn into a rock fight, so I would favor the under here as well. This time in the season look to bet on desperate teams who need to win these late February or early March games. This is essentially a March madness game for the Aztecs mentally, so they will come out well prepared for this one. I will ride the road team in this spot tonight; I can’t wait for this game.
