There is a lot to dissect in this game. The Badgers are currently the one seed in the Big Ten as they sit one game ahead of Purdue. These two teams played earlier in the season, and Wisconsin went into Purdue, one of the toughest environments in all of college basketball, and won the game. That is a tall task, but Wisconsin got it done, handing Purdue their only home loss of the season to this stage. Purdue will be looking to counter their act tonight on the road. This is set to be one of the best games of the season as the Big Ten regular-season title is on the line.

Wisconsin coming into the season was not projected to be this good of a team in the Conference, but they have been the part. Johnny Davis has been outstanding for the Badgers this year and is one of the favorites to win national player of the year and is the favorite to win big ten player of the year. Veteran guard Brad Davidson has played his role perfectly, and they have had some other guys really step up in big times this season.

Purdue has been one of the top teams all year in the country, led by their two big men in Zach Edy and Trevion Williams, in addition, to guard Jaden Ivey. Ivey is slated to be a lottery pick in the upcoming NBA draft and has been a matchup nightmare for opposing coaches all season long. The size of Purdue is something that could give Wisconsin some issues tonight and something to keep an eye on.

I am turning to the Purdue Boilermakers tonight on the moneyline. I love the line we are getting here on the moneyline as I have this thing close to a -200 line. This is a huge game for the Big Ten regular-season title, and with a loss here, Purdue’s hopes for that is done. I also love the fact that Wisconsin beat them earlier this season. This game reminds me a lot of the line we had with San Diego State last night. I think most people will look at this game and think Wisconsin with the points looks like the easy side. The line in this game points to Purdue, and it has continued to move that direction all morning. The game script I see will be for Purdue to challenge the bigs of Wisconsin. The guard's play for Wisconsin has been good all season but where I think they can be beaten is in the paint.

This game tonight is the perfect match-up for Purdue scheme-wise. Zach Edy and Trevion Williams will have favorable matchups through the night against these Wisconsin bigs. I also expect Jaden Ivey to have his way in the paint, and if the defense collapses and shows the bigs double teams, this is a very good three-point shooting Purdue squad who will make you pay from deep. The first time these two teams played, Purdue was not able to stop Johnny Davis, who went for thirty-plus. I think their game plan tonight on Davis will be much better and force other guys to step up and beat them. Zach Edy dominated the first meeting, and I think he will be able to do so again tonight.
