We are in conference tournament play season, so the game I am getting into is life or death for the teams involved. Neither of these teams would get an at-large bid, so this is it for these team's seasons. Georgia State will take on Appalachian State in what should be a great game tonight in the Sun Belt Championship Semifinal.

These are two solid teams who have had some great highs and some tough lows during the regular season. They played each other two times during the season, and they split the meetings as the first time they played, it was a win by App State, and the second time Georgia State took care of business. The interesting thing is these teams lost both of their home games.
The best player in this game will be on the App State sideline in the form of Adrian Delph. Delph, a senior from North Carolina, has been outstanding all season long for the Mountaineers. He is scoring north of seventeen points per game and will have to step it up tonight if they want to get the win. The leader for the Panthers will be senior guard Corey Allen. Allen is one of the best scorers in the conference, and App State will have to limit his production in order to pull off the upset tonight.Â

The play I am turning to tonight is going to be to back the App State Mountaineers with the points. I love the fact we are getting four points here. I think this will be a very close game from start to finish. Neither of these teams are superb at scoring the basketball, so this could turn into an ugly low-scoring rock fight. In these types of games, I much rather back the team that is getting some points.
This could be a game that comes down to the final possession as it did earlier in the season. I think the veteran leaders for App state can step it up here tonight and lead them to get this win. I love the fact that App State also has the best player on the court tonight in Delph. I am trusting the dog here tonight to keep this game close and get us another win!Â
