Let's look at Clemson who should have dominated North Carolina State yesterday but barely won at the end because they are not that good a team this year other than PJ Hall (stop him and you should beat them). They did play Virginia Tech once this year and they upset them as a home dog 63-59. If you look at Clemson's last 10 games you see they lost six in a row to the best teams in the ACC and some not so good but they beat only one good team down the stretch in Wake Forest before the Virginia Tech win. This team has size but this game will come down to 3-point shooting as Virginia Tech is the best in the ACC and 6th in the country hitting 39% while Clemson is 183rd and doesn't match up well with the Virginia Tech guards.
