March Madness Thursday Picks: NMSU vs UConn, St Peter's vs Kentucky, Indiana vs St Mary's, Creighton vs SDSU
By the time the first one of these games tip we will have seen half the board go off. It will feel like we've watched an eternity of basketball by this time. The crazy part is, we're only halfway home. Some of us will literally be fighting for survival here. Lucky for us, we have more basketball to bet. We can just power through this slate like those before us have done every year this tournament has existed. Before watching these, my advice would be to grab a meal. Maybe even a water or two just to hydrate. Nobody said this was going to be easy but it's better on a full stomach. Once you've got the food and water situation handled, these bets will carry you to the night slate. That's just how food and water work.

6:50 pm ET - New Mexico State/UConn Under 130.5 (+105) (Bet $100 to in $105)
Do I want to bet another under? God no. It's literally the last thing I want to do. We have to though. For the kids. I don't want to be mad at them but I can tell you that I 100% will be if we took the over here. Both of these teams want to go as slow as possible. On top of that you know their coaches are "defenses win championships" guys. Makes me sick. I went through all the game logs. I watched highlights. I read articles (I didn't). After all that, I think this is a 67-60 type game. At least there will be other games going on at the same time.
7:10 pm ET - Kentucky -20 (+115) (Bet $100 to win $115)
This has 20-point beatdown written all over it. I'm a MAAC guy so I know this Saint Peter's team. They aren't big but they get almost half their shots at the rim. That's bad when you have to play a team like Kentucky that will throw those shots into the fourth row. People are saying the Peacocks are a "defensive" team and while they did hold teams to 61.8 points per game, they play in the MAAC. They legit gave up 91 to St. John's and 85 to Providence. I think Kentucky will drop 80+ on these kids and run away with this game.

7:20pm ET - Indiana -1 (+130) (Bet $100 to win $130)
I may be getting a little ahead of myself here but I'm sold on the Trayce Jackson-Davis kid from Indiana. We call him TJD on the streets. If I was in charge, he would be required to touch the ball on every single Indiana possession before anyone else was allowed to shoot. That's just how I run things. Firm but fair. I know this Saint Mary's team beat Gonzaga but that's all they think about all the time. It doesn't count. My guess is the two big kids for the Gaels (Bowen & Tass) get into foul trouble. When that happens, nobody will be around to stop TJD. This isn't that crazy.
7:27pm ET - San Diego State/Creighton Under 117 (+125) (Bet $100 to win $125)
When this game tips, we will have four games going on at once. A foursome if you will. It will be too much to handle at times. I can't wait. As boring as this game might be, I'd say lean into it. Both teams play defense and on top of that, don't seem to be in any hurry to shoot the ball. They take forever at times. It could be boring but at the same time, we may not even see 100 points. I'm kidding but it really could be a 55-50 type game. The best way to play it would be to grab an alt total for +125. That way when we're watching paint dry, we'll at least be getting paid for it.
