Last year, Colgate was a trendy first-round upset pick, and despite a red hot start, they were not able to stick around and ended up melting down. The Raiders are currently on a 14-game winning streak, with six of their last eight wins coming by double-digits, despite being a 14 seed, there in the fight here.

Wisconsin most likely has the best player in this game with Johnny Davis, a 6'5 sophomore, who is the team leader with 19.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. Wisconsin is definitely the more well-rounded team here, but with Colgate's offensive upside, I think the spread is larger here. I'm not sure Colgate will be able to close this game out, but I do believe they will keep it close enough to make +8 a good bet.

That being said, they are playing against a formidable offense led by Johnny Davis, and they are gonna need to rely on their competent scorers. While Nelly Cummings is this team's leading scorer, he's gonna have a tougher inside matchup than Ferguson who takes more outside shots. Ferguson caught fire in the conference tournament, and I expect him to continue that success today.
