St Mary's could be one of the most underrated teams in this tournament. They are led by a great head coach and a very talented roster. The other feature is of St Mary's is they are a very experienced team led by point guard Tommy Kushe. Kushe is a senior who is the heartbeat of this team will have to step up and make an impact on this game if St Mary's wants to pull off this win.
The Bruins enter play looking to go on a run similar to a season ago. UCLA landed themselves a bid to the final four last season and took Gonzaga down to the final seconds. This is a very similar team to the team from a season ago. The best player on that team was guard Johnny Juzang. Once again, Juzang is the star of this UCLA team. He has a lot of talented players around him, most notably junior guard Jamie Jaquez Jr who has been a machine for the Bruins as of late. This is set up to be a great battle between two experienced, well-respected teams.

The play I am turning to for this game will be to back the UCLA Bruins. I love this line for UCLA, and I think it is a gift with all due respect to the Gaels. UCLA struggled in their last game against Akron, which I think is why this line is so short. This line is an overreaction to their poor performance and to St Mary's win over Indiana. It was an impressive win for the Gaels, and that’s for sure, but this UCLA team is much more dangerous than Indiana.
This is an experienced team who has a ton of talent across the board. I think UCLA matches up very well here against St Mary's. The paint will be where UCLA should hold their largest advantage. UCLA should win the battle in the paint and on the glass, which will play a large role in this game. I love the line we are getting, so let’s take advantage and cash in!
