Arizona vs. TCU Prediction
Arizona has been one of the more impressive teams in the nation this season with how impressive their offense has been. They are currently ranked 7th in adjusted offensive efficiency, 7th in effective Field Goal percentage, 5th in offensive 2-point percentage, and 15th in offensive rebounding percentage. They have played really well the entire season, but they have struggled against big and physical teams who could hang with them on the inside. They struggled against Stanford twice, Colorado, UCLA, and Tennessee who all play very solid defense and have big bodies inside to challenge Arizona at the rim and in transition. In Arizona's first game against Wright State, they started off sizzling and then their shooting really declined down the stretch of both halves. Wright State was able to score 70 points on one of the top teams in the country, so I don't think Arizona has been playing their best on defense as of late.

TCU comes into this game after posting one of the most impressive performances of the first round. They absolutely demolished Seton Hall as they held them to 42 points and ended up winning by 27. TCU has been very hot and cold this season, but they have shown up big against some top teams to this point. They have notched wins over LSU, Texas Tech, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma two times.
TCU has been able to have success this season because of how well they have played on defense. TCU is currently ranked 16th in adjusted defensive efficiency, 62nd in defensive 3-point percentage, 62nd in defensive effective Field Goal percentage, and is in the top 100 in nearly all major defensive categories. On the offensive side of the ball, TCU has had their success by hitting the offensive glass. They are ranked number 1 in the nation in offensive rebounding percentage so they get a large portion of their offensive production from second-chance opportunities.
Arizona is one of the biggest teams in the country, but TCU also has the size to bang with them on the inside so I don't think Arizona will be able to bully them like they have done to so many other teams this season. With that being said, I am rolling with TCU +10 -112 for 1U as I think TCU has the physicality and toughness to keep this game close.
