Sunday March Madness Late Picks: Notre Dame vs. Texas Tech, Texas vs. Virginia Tech, and More
Not to be a downer but I'm almost sad that this weekend is over after this. I usually don't place 48 bets in four days and try to watch it all but it was fun. Good times were had. I feel like I can go into next week feeling like I actually accomplished something. Because I did. We did. It's not over yet though. There are still four games left and I dug through all of them looking for angles. They weren't easy to find but then again, nothing worth anything ever is. I liked the challenge. But after all that digging, I'm happy to say that there's not one bet in this article that has a remote chance of losing (probabilities were calculated at the time the bet was placed). Not one. This might be the greatest day of our gambling lives people. Feels good.

7:10 pm ET - Notre Dame/Texas Tech Over 62 *First Half @ -110 (Bet $110 to win $100)
Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing
This one feels like the easiest bet on the board today. Notre Dame is playing with house money and they know it. They've gone full on chuck and duck and it's beautiful to watch. The thing is, Texas Tech can score too. The Red Raiders play defense but it is nearly impossible to guard a hot shooting team. The beauty is even if Notre Dame is missing shots, that will lead to long rebounds which lead to fast breaks. Texas Tech likes to get into their half court offense and slow things down so any fast break bucket from them is a godsend. This game should see more than 62 points in the first half.

7:45 pm ET - Miami Team Total Over 70.5 @ +148 (Bet $100 to win $148)
Alt line available at FanDuel at time of publishing
You have to take a shot on a team total at +148 at times in this tournament and this is one of those times. In my opinion, if the Hurricanes don't get to 71, it will be because they only scored 70. They looked good against USC offensively and even though they only managed 68 points, it was because USC plays so slow. Auburn is not USC. They will run up and down the floor for the entire game. I get that they play defense but they could easily end up in a 85-75 type game tonight. I wouldn't even be surprised if they lost.
8:40 pm ET - Texas -1 @ +130 (Bet $100 to win $130)
Alt line available at DraftKings at time of publishing
I think Texas isn't good. They were painful to watch the other day against Virginia Tech. I mean it hurt my eyes for real. That's exactly why I'm taking them today. They are the exact team to play a team like Purdue and muck the game all up. Purdue plays this sweet, sweet highly-skilled-looking offense and Texas will ruin it. They have mind power over every team they play for some reason. Like they erase their minds of any offensive knowledge they have. It's stupid. This isn't that crazy of a bet.

9:40 pm ET - TCU Team Total Over 72.5 @ +220 (Bet $100 to win $220)
Alt line available at FanDuel at time of publishing
This is the one. It's the last game of the weekend so it might as well be for +220. If we're being honest, I even thought about over 75.5 at +360. That's not that crazy. For starters, TCU can score the basketball. It's just that they've had some weird matchups in March. They played Kansas three times. They hit this number in one of those games. I think tonight will be about two things: TCU being an ok basketball team and Arizona being a fake team. The Wildcats may win this game but they push pace so for me it's unlikely to think they'll win by holding the Horned Frogs under 73 points. Wright State just hung 70 on this Arizona team. Enough said.
