Arizona's scoring attack is led by Pac-12 Player of the Year Benedict Mathurin. But, the Wildcats have plenty of options that can put points on the board. And, Dalen Terry serves as their primary distributor. He's essentially Arizona's "X-Factor" this season and has earned a massive amount of playing time under Head Coach Tommy Lloyd. He should continue to function as the team's lead playmaker with plenty of in-game action to get the job done on Thursday night.

Dalen Terry is one of the most versatile players in college basketball. He was voted onto the Pac 12 All-Defense team and made significant improvements as a shooter, both from the field and from the free-throw line. After playing in more of a part-time role under Sean Miller in the 2020-21 season, Tommy Lloyd has unleashed Terry and the sophomore has become an integral piece of Zona's success.
He's averaging 3.9 assists per game on the season as a whole but has increased this number to 4.2 APG since February 1st. Terry has also reached the 4-assist mark in 11 of his 17 games during this stretch.
The 6'7" guard's playing time increase has led to a subsequent increase in his assist numbers lately, too. He's played at least 36 minutes in three straight games, posting 7, 4, and 5 assists in these three contests. We can safely expect him to see between 35 and 38 minutes yet again in this Sweet 16 battle against Houston. And, it helps quite a bit that foul trouble hasn't been an issue at all this season.
Terry has reached the over on this assist line in 16 of 24 games when seeing 25+ minutes of action, averaging 4.1 APG within this sample. How about when Terry plays 28+ minutes? Over in 15 of 19 games, averaging 4.5 APG. And with a sample of games where he played 32+ minutes? Over in all 8 games, averaging 5.1 APG.
With Arizona's jack of all trades penciled in for 35+ minutes with everything on the line against the Cougars, I love the value we're getting on Terry's assists. And at plus-odds, this prop is one of my favorite plays of the Sweet 16.
