Thursday March Madness Early Picks: Gonzaga vs. Arkansas, Michigan vs. Villanova

I can barely contain my excitement at the moment. Right now, you're reading an article written by a guy whose teeth just got yet another clean bill of health from his dentist this morning. On top of that, I have what's highly likely to be the cleanest teeth on the planet at this second. The polishing I got this morning was second to none. On top of that, I hit the gym on the way home as well as the grocery store which means I have time to take the dog on a long walk today. Simply put, I'm unstoppable at the moment which makes me the perfect guy to tail in college hoops tonight. I don't make the rules people. They are what they are. Lucky for us, we have two of the easiest games I've ever seen on any slate in my life. Even if I wasn't dominating life the way I am today, I'd probably still get them right. We're just living the dream.

Do you know what's important in this world? Honesty. It just is. With that being said, I honestly think the Zags could drop a 90-burger on the Arkansas kids tonight. I really do. The reason is simple, pace. Both of these teams run up and down the court like the building is on fire. Both are top 28 in pace on the season. Normally when this happens one of the coaches will try to galaxy brain the situation and slow down to throw the other one-off. I doubt that happens with the two head guys tonight.

The only thing that could hurt us tonight is Arkansas not being able to score but they already had their shit game last time out. They shot 27% and won a game. They know they're on borrowed time now. I doubt they embarrass themselves like that again. In fact, I expect the opposite. Their coach is wild and you know he has those kids pumped up. If they can keep it within 10 or even play with a lead, then we have a shot here. Gonzaga won't quit running in the second half. Their strategy is literally to run the other team out of gas. The difference tonight is, Arkansas should be up for that challenge. This should have the pace to be a 91-80 type game people. We just need the kids to capitalize and actually score.

Man, that last write-up took a lot out of me. So well written. Read it again if you don't believe me. Luckily for us, a nice, beefy +250 move sends a jolt of energy that could power a city through me. I live for these moves people. The good thing about this one is, it is highly likely to happen.

If we've learned anything this season, it's that when a coach smacks another coach in the head during the postgame handshakes, people notice. Especially the kids that the coach smacker coaches. I'm not making this up. Ever since Juwan Howard pimp smacked that Wisconsin coach, the Michigan Wolverines have been scoring points. It's only been eight games since the incident but Michigan has dropped at least 71 points in seven of them. They hit 69 in the time they didn't.

Tonight the Wolverines will get Villanova and I wanted to take Michigan to win but that's only +185. They call that chump change on the streets. Why do that when we know if Michigan wins they will score at least 72 points? They just dropped 76 on the Tennessee Volunteers and they have the third-best defense in the country according to KenPom. I know Villanova is slow and good on defense but Purdue hung 80 on these same kids earlier this season. Plus Jay Wright wants none of the postgame Juwan Howard smoke. Michigan will probably go 75+ tonight. We only need 72.
