Kansas vs. Miami prediction and pick for Sunday's Elite 8 showdown. With a trip to the Final Four on the line, what can we expect from these two teams? Handicapper Matt McCuen shares his best bet.
ANALYSIS

Kansas vs. Miami Prediction: Can Miami Keep It Close With a Trip to the Final Four on the Line?

The Miami Hurricanes will battle the Kansas Jayhawks for the rights to the final four. This has been a wild journey for Miami, who started the tournament as a number ten seed and almost lost their first-round game against USC.

Kansas vs. Miami Prediction

This is an experienced Miami team with a ton of scoring through their lineup led by guard Kameron Mcgusty. Mcgusty has been the leader of this team all season long and has really stepped up his play in the tournament.

Kansas was projected to be here, and they have one of the most talented rosters in all of the nation, led by Ochai Abaji. The play of Remy Martin has been a welcoming sight for the Jayhawks as he has been their best scorer thru the tournament to this point. Head coach Bill Self is one of the best coaches in the nation and will look to punch another ticket to the final four against this very dangerous Miami group.

I will be backing the dog here in Miami with the six points.

I think Kansas has been good in this tournament, but they played their last couple of games close against less-talented teams. Creighton and Providence played them very tough, and I believe this Miami team is the better team at the moment. Miami has been lights out on offense while the Jayhawks have struggled to score the basketball at times. Their best player has been Remy Martin, a guy who does not even start for this team. Miami is playing with too much confidence at the moment and momentum to fade. I think this is a back and forth game, and Miami scores enough points to cover and potentially win!
