Kansas vs North Carolina Predictions: Don't Miss These Two National Championship Best Bets

The national championship is finally here. The season began in November, and now here we are in early April for the championship. What a crazy ride it has been this season, and we have so many memories from it. The North Carolina Tarheels and the Kansas Jayhawks are the final teams standing. These are two storied programs that have been at the top of the game for a long time. North Carolina ranks third all-time in national championships with six rings, while the Jayhawks rank seventh with three, most recently in 2008. The bottom line is that these are two of the best programs in college basketball, and we are set for a bell of a game.

Kansas vs North Carolina Prediction

The journey for the Heels is one to admire as they have come a long way for a number eight seed. The Heels were just a three-point favorite in round one against Marquette, and then they went on to knock off last year's champion, the Baylor Bears. North Carolina blew a massive lead in that game, and Baylor was able to force overtime. North Carolina won the game in overtime despite Brady Manek being ejected and Caleb Love fouling out. That win showed how mentally tough this team is. The Heels would go on to knock off UCLA, who was a final four team last season, and then beat the Cinderella story of St Peter’s. The most notable win was on Saturday when they took down their arch-rival and ended the career of the legend Coach K. The run has been one of the best in tournament history, but no one wants to be remembered for second place.

The Jayhawks will look to prevent a storybook ending for UNC, and they have the guys to do it. Ochai Abaji, who was the Big Twelve Player of the Year, will be the guy to keep an eye on. This is an experienced group that has been clicking all tournament long. The path has been easier for Kansas than it has for UNC, but that does not mean this isn’t a great Kansas team. They are a four-point favorite tonight for a reason.

I am going to back the Heels tonight with the points. I believe this team is playing too well and has too much confidence not to back them getting points. I have this line closer to a PK, so this is a no-brainer to me. I believe the Heels match up very well across the board in this matchup, and I give them the advantage at the point guard position in this game. The play of Caleb Love and RJ Davis has been outstanding all tournament, and I expect more of that tonight. I would also say that the completion UNC has faced this tournament has them well prepared for this game tonight. I want to throw in one more play in this article. A prop I love is David McCormack, over 11.5 points. I give Kansas the advantage in the paint tonight and think the Jayhawks will work thru McCormick often. I hope everyone enjoys the national championship. Let’s make some money!
