The Arkansas Razorbacks vs. the LSU Tigers will clash from Baton Rouge for a much anticipated SEC affair. Both of these teams have had very successful starts to their season. They each bring a record of 11-1 into play, but one of these two teams will suffer their second loss of the season tonight. Let's break it down with my pick for tonight's game.

LSU vs. Arkansas Prediction

When you talk about star power, Arkansas has a ton of it. The Razorbacks have one of the most talented teams in the nation and they have multiple NBA players on their team.

Arkansas currently has three players projected to go in the first round of the upcoming NBA Draft. Two of them are slated to be lottery picks in the form of Nick Smith and Anthony Black. Ricky Council IV is also expected to be a first-round pick and he currently leads the Razorbacks in scoring, averaging 18.3 points per game.

This roster is deep and they are athletic. Eric Musselman has done an outstanding job with this team, and they will be a nightmare to play come March. LSU, meanwhile, is a team built on the transfer portal.

The Tigers hired Matt McMahon in the off-season. McMahon, who was the head coach of Murray State, brought multiple Murray State players with him to LSU, including senior KJ Williams. Williams leads the Tigers in scoring averaging 19.3 points per game.

I am backing LSU with the points tonight. I am not going to argue with anybody that LSU is more talented than Arkansas because they are not, but this is all about the spot. I love taking a conference dog home, and that is what we see tonight. LSU has a lot of experience on this roster. As I said earlier, this is a team built thru the portal, and they gained a lot of experience on their roster. Meanwhile, Arkansas is a young team, and this will be the most hostile environment that a lot of these young stars have played in. I expect this to lead to some mistakes for the Razorbacks tonight. Let’s keep rolling in CBB and cash in tonight!
