The Saint Marys Gaels vs. the BYU Cougars will duel things out on Saturday night for a tremendous mid-major markup in Provo, Utah. When you talk about great mid-major teams over the last few years, both come to mind. Saint Marys enters, representing a record of 18-4. They have been led by Aidan Mahaney, averaging 15.2 points per game. Saint Marys has been a staple in March for the last few seasons. They bring back multiple players from their March Madness team from last season. The Gaels are not currently ranked but have received votes in the last few weeks.

Meanwhile, BYU enters with a record of 14-9. This is a significant game for the cougars to win to build their resume for March. Bin addition, BYU is a team that feels much better than its record indicates. Needless to say, this is a much-needed win by BYU tonight. Saint Marys comes in as a seven-point favorite. 

I will be backing the cougars tonight with the points. As I mentioned earlier, BYU is a team that has underperformed at this point in its season. Byu is being very undeclared in my eyes tonight. I think that they fight hard in this game and keep it tight. This is not an easy place to go and dominate a game, and I do not see that being the case here tonight.
