Texas vs. Baylor Prediction

Baylor and Texas matchup pretty similar to this point in the year. The Bears come in representing an overall record of 16-5, and they have been playing some of their basketball as of late. Baylor enters this contest winners of six games in a row. Those have included some notable wins, including a pair over Kansas and Arkansas.

The two games that Baylor has lost this month are by a combined three points. They have been led by freshmen Keynote George who is the highest recruit in Baylor’s program history. He is averaging 17.2 points per game and has been a matchup nightmare for a lot of teams this season. Texas, meanwhile, comes in playing to the tune of a 17-4 record.

The Longhorns are ranked tenth overall, and I feel they have a championship roster. Texas is off a rough performance on Saturday night in a game that they got blown out in Tennessee. Marcus Carr has led this team scoring 17.3 points per game while dishing out a team-high 4.2 assists. Texas is one of the best defensive teams in the nation, limiting opponents to just 67.5 points per game. 

I am all in on the Longhorns tonight. Baylor has had Texas number as of late, but I love this bounce-back spot for Texas at home tonight. This is a tough Texas team, and they play their best basketball at home. Texas is 12-1 on their home floor this season, and they have beaten some tough opponents along the way. I expect another strong effort from the Longhorns tonight. I am sipping on some juice here because Baylor tends to play close games. I think the money line will be rather sweat-free tonight.
