We're at BetMGM for this one since they seem to be the only book on the planet hanging this number. Go through and look for yourself. Almost everyone else has 151 (-110). FanDuel even has 151.5 (-106) right now. Now, what's more likely? Every book on the planet is wrong and BetMGM is right? Or could it be BetMGM is asleep at the wheel here? We'll have to let history decide that one but I'm taking the latter.

This one is about number and price but there are some basketball reasons too. For starters, Iowa hasn't scored less than 81 points in their last three games at home. In two of them, they went for 93. That's a shitload of points. Sure Northwestern has a good defense but the Hawkeyes dropped 93 on Rutgers last time out and they've got the second-best-adjusted defense number in the nation according to KenPom. I feel like defense doesn't matter here. That's a good thing when we are talking about an over.

But let's say the Northwestern defense does matter tonight. We can pretend. Well, in that case, the Wildcats have the horses on offense to hang points on Iowa and get us home on this number. They've scored 78 points in each of their last two road games. Do the math; if we were to get a 78-75 type game here, we would win (math). All I'm saying is, the over is the right side of the total in this one. If we're being honest, we could be looking at a game that goes 160+. We're going to be in the Gambling Hall of Fame after this bet.
