We're going to the Caesars for this one since they have the stones to throw up the -110 on this crazy number. Looking through the industry, they are one of the only ones I can find that has 151. Every other book on the planet has 149.5 (-110). Some of the sharper ones have lines even higher than -110. We're looking at a two-point difference here for the same price. Does Caesars know something that no other book in the world knows?

Here's the thing, this makes complete sense basketball-wise. Georgetown is terrible. They've only won six games all season and rank 180th in the country in offensive efficiency. Not great. The only reason we could expect them to put up a decent amount of points is that they play pretty fast. They aren't the highest-paced team but 85th still isn't slow. Even so, with how they shoot the ball, it's hard to imagine they score more than 72ish points this evening in Washington, D.C.

One reason I don't think they will score is that their opponent, the Creighton Blue Jays, plays a little defense. Not an illegal amount, but enough to get us by. They are 74th in the country in defensive efficiency so far and have posted a .934 rating over the last three games. We've seen Butler, Villanova, and Seton Hall all hold the Hoyas to the 50s in January so the Hoyas are susceptible to the D. If we're being 100% honest with each other, there is no chance this number stays where it is. I'd say by tip-off, it could be a point lower. I'd bet it right now if I were you.
