The VCU Rams and the St. Louis Billikens will duel things out from Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday night for an Atlantic 10 matchup. VCU enters the game playing to the tune of a 17-6 record. The Rams currently hold the No. 1 spot in the A10, but after tonight’s game, the winner will be in the first place. This is the most significant Atlantic 10 game of the year so far.

VCU has been led by Adrian Baldwin Jr., who is averaging a team-high 12.2 points per game. The Junior from Baltimore also leads the Rams in assists with 6.1 dimes per game. Adrian is the engine that makes this team go. The main reason for the success of VCU is its outstanding defense. The Rams allow just 63.2 points per game which makes them one of the best defenses in college basketball.

St. Louis, meanwhile, comes in with an overall record of 15-7 and a conference record of 7-2. Entering the year, a lot of people thought that this was the best team in the A10. One of the main reasons for that was star guard Gibson Jimerson. The Virginia native has turned in a great year for the Billikens, and if they want to earn a home win tonight, he will need to be locked in. Junior guard Yuri Collins will also be a player to keep an eye on, as he is one of the best playmakers in the nation. Collins leads the nation in assists averaging 10.1 helpers per game. The Billikens come into play tonight as a two-point favorite.
