We're packing our stuff and heading to DraftKings for this one but there is good news. If you don't have DraftKings, you can head over to Barstool, BetMGM, BetRivers or Caesars because they all have the same number and price. I'd be willing to bet all of them will bump this up to 129 at some point or maybe even higher. I like to look at bets two ways, whether they win and whether I beat the closing line. Two for one people. Usually, you have to pay double for that kind of thing but not here.
Have I seen either of these teams play? No. But that's a good thing. You don't want to cloud your judgment with little things like that. Here's what I do know though, this makes sense basketball-wise. I know because I coach two different girls' basketball teams (5th and 7th grade). So I know what I'm talking about. This one is kind of about Florida A&M but it's more about Texas Southern. You could say it's all about Texas Southern.
For starters, these kids play fast as hell. That's why this thing should be in the 130s. They've had an entire season to sharpen up offensively so the fast pace is worth a few extra buckets. What's even cooler is they run the third fastest pace in the country at home. Up and down, chuck and duck. They haven't seen a game go under this number since before Christmas. I get that FAMU plays slow but they will have to pace up a little here being on the road in Houston, Texas. This thing could go over by halftime (technically).
