Northwestern vs. Iowa Prediction

The Iowa Hawkeyes vs. the Northwestern Wildcats will duel things out from Evanston, Illinois, for a much anticipated Big Ten matchup. Both of these teams enter play red hot and feel great about their play lately. Let’s start with the visiting Hawkeyes.

Fran McCaffery once again has his team firmly locked into the big dance, and it is a matter of seeding at this point. Iowa has been led by Kris Murray, averaging a team-high 21.0 points per game. Murray has been one of the best offensive weapons in the nation this year, but he is not alone. Iowa is one of the best offenses in basketball, averaging 81 points per game. The Hawkeyes enter this game as winners of five of their last six.

The Wildcats, meanwhile, sit alone in second place in the Big Ten, and they are just 1.5 games behind Purdue for the top team in the conference.
