Missouri vs. Mississippi State Prediction

Mississippi State enters this game playing to the tune of an 18-9 record and playing their best basketball as of late. The Bulldogs are 4-1 in the month of February, including a win over Missouri on February fourth in a game that they won 63-52. The recent run has earned them the right back into the tournament in the eyes of many. They are listed as one of the last four teams in from the latest tournament projections. This win would be a significant one tonight on the road.

Missouri, meanwhile, enters this game, supporting an overall record of 19-8. The Tigers are currently seen as an 8-9 seed, but they will try and improve on that with a home win tonight. Missouri has been led by senior guard Kobe Brown who is having the best year of his career, averaging a team-high 16.4 points per game. The Tigers have pretty balanced scoring after that, as they have four other players that average nine points or more. The Tigers enter this gameplay on a two-game losing streak, and they are hopeful that they can snap that losing streak tonight with a much-needed home victory over the Bulldogs.
