March Madness Parlays

JP Pegues (Furham) Over 1.5 3PM

Virginia vs. Furham Start Time, Where to Watch

  • Game Time: 12:40 pm ET
  • Where to Watch: TruTV

This Virginia vs. Furman first-round matchup is one of the more unique spots on the board. UVA’s backline defense is well known for its ability to shut down the paint, so Furman will need to do their damage from the outside. While Furman has multiple players they must rely on to get hot from beyond the arc, I like Pegues in this matchup. He’s coming into this game with great volume, going 0-7, 3-10, and 4-7 from beyond the arc in their conference tournament run. Pegues will be called on plenty in this game, I think he can cash this ticket for us in the first half today!

Max Abmas (Oral Roberts) Over 21.5 Points

Duke vs. Oral Roberts Start Time, Where to Watch

  • Game Time: 7:10 pm ET
  • Where to Watch: CBS

Max Abmas is a name everyone in the college basketball world knows after Oral Roberts' last tournament run. While he may only be 6’0, he is 7th in the nation in scoring, averaging 22.2 points. He’s coming into this game hitting the over in 2 of their 3 conference tournament matchups, with consistent volume of 15+ FGA and 8+ 3PA.

Another positive is that Connor Vannover (13 PPG) now runs into a tougher matchup vs. Duke. That 7’5 frame may have worked down in the Summit League, but there is a reason he had to go running out of the SEC. That size doesn't scare anyone around here! I think that puts even more on Abmas, who is clearly the leader of this Oral Roberts team.

KD Johnson (Auburn) Over 9.5 Points

Iowa vs. Auburn Start Time, Where to Watch

  • Game Time: 6:50 pm ET
  • Where to Watch: TNT

While the KD may not stand for Kevin Durant, I’m still confident Mr. Johnson gets the job done. This Auburn team went through the absolute ringer in their conference tournament. They faced Tennessee, Arkansas, and Alabama in their final game before that. Despite the tough matchups, he scored 20, 3, and 21 points in those games. He has 10+ points in 10 of his last 15 games, gets a matchup against an Iowa defense that allows 101.3 points per 100 possessions on offense (18th), and is top 20 in the nation in scoring. They’ll need his scoring presence in the lineup in this high-paced matchup.
