Michigan State vs. USC Prediction

USC comes into this game making way of the Pac-12. USCC turned in a solid season led by veteran guard Boogie Ellis. Ellis was one of the best players in the Pac-12 this season, and if the Trojans want to have any chance of winning this game, they will need Ellis to make a big impact here. Head coach Andy Enfiled has done an outstanding job with this USC program since taking over. Enfield was the head coach of Florida Gulf Coast when they went on that sweet sixteen run a decade ago. He has turned USC into more than a football school in the last few seasons.

Michigan State, meanwhile, will be making yet another tournament under the legendary Tom Izzo. Very few coaches have had more success than Izzo when it comes to getting his teams to March. Izzo is one of the best college basketball coaches of all time, and he would love nothing more than to get a win on Friday and advance to the round of thirty-two. Michigan State has one of the most dangerous backcourts in the tournament, led by guards Tyson Walker and AJ Hoggard. The Trojans will have to limit this duo if they want to get the win.

I am going to back Tom Izzo and the Spartans today. I love the guards that the Spartans have, and I love backing a Tom Izzo-led team this time of year. I watched a lot of USC games this season, and I am not all that impressed with this team. USC is very top-heavy, and if the Spartans can limit Boogie Ellis, then I believe that they can roll in this spot. While shutting down Ellis will be no easy task. I fully expect Tom Izzo to put together a game plan to make somebody else on USC to beat them. Let’s start the day strong today!
