Best March Madness Bets: Don’t Miss This Expert's Tennessee vs. Duke Pick for Saturday’s Round of 32

Duke opened the tournament with a resounding win over Cinderella hopeful Oral Roberts as they controlled that game from the tip. They started off the game on a 15-to-nothing run and never let up. After Duke started the game, their defense really took control as they controlled Max Abmas and never allowed him to get going in the flow of their high-powered offense.

Tennessee vs. Duke Prediction

Duke's defense has been stifling over the past few weeks behind the interior presence of Dereck Lively and Kyle Filipowski. Mark Mitchell has also proved himself as a very solid perimeter defender and a guy who can defend multiple positions at a high level. Jeremy Roach and Tyrese Proctor have done a very solid job of running the office and have an extremely efficient over the last two weeks, which has led due to this point.

On the other side, the Volunteers were in control against Louisiana and their opening round game for a majority of that contest until late in the second half, where they went multiple minutes in a row with no points and allowed ULL to get back in the game. Tennessee will not be able to go long amounts of time with no points in this contest as duke will take control of those same opportunities, unlike ULL.

Tennessee has a stifling defense as well and is one of the best in the country, but Duke is playing at nearly the same level defensively at the moment, and I think the difference in this game will be Duke’s offense. The Blue Devils have been incredibly efficient over the past few weeks and have multiple impact players in Jeremy Roach and Kyle Filipowski, who can both get a bucket at nearly any time. I believe Tennessee will struggle to score, and I see Duke pulling out a close win late. With that being said, I am rolling with Duke ML at -170 (Risk 2U).
