ANALYSIS

Kansas vs. Arkansas Prediction, Pick Against the Spread, and Latest Odds for Round of 32

The Arkansas Razorbacks and the Kansas Jayhawks will meet up with an opportunity to go to the Sweet 16 on Saturday night. On paper, this March Madness game should deliver, as there is NBA talent all over the floor. Kansas, who is the defending national champions, blew out Howard in the first round, while Arkansas beat Illlinos by double figures in a game that they controlled from the jump.

These two teams were both top ten in the pre-season rankings, and they showed us why in the first round. Let's get into my Kansas vs. Arkansas prediction and pick.

Kansas vs. Arkansas Prediction

First-team all-American superstar Jalen Wilson leads Kansas. Wilson was a starter on the Jayhawks National Championship team a season ago, and he has taken his play to a completely different level this year. Kansas also features one of the best freshmen in the nation in the form of Gradey Dick, who is slotted to be a first-round pick in the upcoming NBA draft.

Arkansas, meanwhile, will have two lottery picks from their current team in Nick Smith Jr. and Anthony Black. I have said this all season long regarding pure talent, Arkansas can match up with anyone in college basketball. The issue for the Razorbacks is their youth which did not play a factor in round one. Kansas enters play as a three-point favorite.

I will be backing the Jayhawks tonight with the points. I am a bit surprised that this is a short line, but I think the Jayhawks are the better all-around team, and that experience will play a key role in this game. Remember that multiple members of this Kansas team just won a National Championship and know how to win basketball games this time of year.

I love the young players that the Razorbacks have, but there is something to be said for experience this time of year. Let’s stay hot and cash in today.
