March Madness Predictions Today: Ride This Expert's Missouri vs. Princeton Pick for Saturday

Princeton played a near-perfect game against Arizona to take down the second-seeded Wildcats in their opening NCAA Tournament game. Princeton slowed the game down to a snail's pace and really took away Arizona’s guards' ability to shoot the three and break down the defense with dribble drives. The good news for Princeton in this match-up with Missouri is that the game plan remains the same.

Missouri vs. Princeton Prediction

Missouri is a team who likes to play up-tempo and has a motion office very similar to that of Arizona. Missouri is a high-powered office that scores a lot of points, but they are very susceptible on the defensive end, and they do turn the ball over a lot on offense. Princeton should be able to slow the game down to their pace, much like they did against Arizona, and if they can do this, I believe they can keep this game close or even pull the upset outright.

Missouri had a very solid opening-round win against Utah State, but the Aggies shot horribly from three-point land in Missouri was the benefactor of an outlier shooting day. I highly doubt Princeton is going to shoot as badly as Utah State did in their first game, which is bad news for Missouri.

Princeton is a very deliberate and efficient office, and it is much easier to slow the game down than it is to speed a game up. If Princeton can slow this game down to their pace and make outside shots, I believe they have a great shot to pull another upset. With that being said, I am rolling with Princeton +7 at -115 for 1.5u as one of my favorite bets of the afternoon.
