Creighton comes into this game feeling good about their recent play, as they took care of a solid NC State team in round one. Creighton is a team that is known for its offensive game, but they have also excelled on the defensive side of the ball this year.

Baylor, meanwhile, blew out UC Santa Barbara in round one, led by a strong second half. Baylor was down at the half, but they looked like a completely different team in the second half of the game. This is an experienced Baylor team that has multiple members on it from their National Championship team. Baylor has some of the most talented guards in the nation, including veteran Adam Flagger and freshman superstar Keyonte George. George is slated to be a lottery pick in this year's upcoming NBA draft.

On paper, few teams are more talented than the Bears, but an issue for them has been in the paint. They have struggled at times facing teams with good bigs, and today, Creighton represents one of them in Ryan Kalkbrenner. Baylor does have some experienced bigs, and they will need them to be locked in on the defensive end of the basketball today if they want to continue dancing. I am backing Baylor tonight on the short spread at -1. I am surprised to see more public money on the side of the Blue Jays, but I do not mind that at all. Baylor is a team that, as you all know, I love, and the main reason for that is their explosive guard play and the experience that comes with this team. Baylor is a team that, if they heat up from a distance, very well may run away with this game, and you know that they will turn in a strong effort on defense every night.
