The Michigan State Spartans and the Marquette Golden Eagles will meet up from Columbus, Ohio, for what should be a great matchup on Sunday afternoon on the final day of the Round of 32. The winner of this game will advance into the Sweet 16, while the loser will start planning their vacations for the spring.

Marquette put together one of the best years in school history led by head coach Shaka Smart. Smart did an outstanding job with a team that was slated to finish toward the bottom of the Big East. Marquette point guard Tyler Kolek took the league by storm as he was voted Big East player of the year.

Kolek can do it all and has shown his passing and scoring ability all season, making him a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. The role players for Marquette have also really stepped things up this season.

Michigan State, meanwhile, is a typical hard-nosed team under head coach Tom Izzo. Michigan State was able to get past USC in round one, and they feel they are in a good spot to pull off the upset this afternoon. Michigan State represents two of the better guards in this tournament, AJ Hoggard and Tyson Walker.

It will be interesting to see who wins the battle at the guard position today, as we know how talented the Golden Eagles are at the guard position. Marquette comes into this game as a two-point favorite. 

I am going to be square here and back, Marquette. This will be a public bet for sure, but I love the way that Marquette matches up here, and I feel as if they have been an underrated team all season long despite their high seeding. Tyler and Kolek, and Kam Jones will be able to match the strong play of Michigan States guards, and overall, I think that the Golden Eagles are the overall deeper team. This line should be closer to -170/-180 in my eyes, so I am all over the money line today!
