Xavier comes into this game on the heels of a come-from-behind win over Kennesaw State on Friday afternoon. Xavier trailed by double digits late in the second half, but they were able to lock in on the defensive end and get some key stops. This is a Xavier team that is poised to go on a run, and they are hopeful after that comeback, it can spark the team.

Pitt, meanwhile, is fresh off of a dominant win over Iowa State. We saw Pitt beat Missisp State in the forty-four games, and they followed that up with an even stronger performance vs. a good Iowa State team. The main reason for the Panther's success has been their defense.

The Panthers held their opponents under sixty points in both games to start the tournament. They know that if they want to pull off the early upset today that they will have to score the basketball better than they did in the first couple of games facing this high-paced Xavier offense. Xavier enters play as a five-point favorite.

I am going to fade the public dog today and take the Musketeers. I think that a lot of people will overlook Xavier based on their lackluster performance against Kennesaw State. This is a new game, and that game is meaningless at this point.
