UFC 274 Prediction: Bet This Lock For Charles Oliveira vs. Justin Gaethje
Finally to cap off what is angled to be a superlative pay-per-view extravaganza we have Charles "DoDo Bronx” Oliveira taking on the Homer Simpson of MMA, Justin Gaethje. A lot of proponents like myself are already asking the question why is this matchup actually taking place. If you use mixed martial arts math Charles has already bested the likes of Dustin Peahead, who has, in turn, decapitated Justin in a previous affair. The answer to that is simple, the UFC is trying to discredit Khabibs legacy as quickly as humanly possible and I'm all here for it.
Charles Oliveira vs. Justin Gaethje Prediction
Jokes aside, it's because there are relatively no new combatants as of late that pose any sort of threat whatsoever, and because of it, we are forced to regurgitate contenders from yesteryear. Justin Highlight is an unorthodox Tank Abbot-esque brawler who has the repertoire of a prolific combat savant but the IQ of a retarded turtle.
He shells up perfectly no question, but he fumbles his words on the mic almost as frequently as his fumbling of title shot opportunities. Put it in more frank terms he is a bully, someone who would rather lambast their opponent and appear as unlikeable as possible instead of exercising proper manners or locker room etiquette.
On the other end of the spectrum, we have Chuck E Oliveira. This man is the literal embodiment of a humble beast, who dedicates everything he accomplishes to god and gives back feverishly to his impoverished favela in Brazil. A people's champion through and through, having the record for most submission wins and overall finishes is nothing to scoff at as well.
Perhaps it was the birth of his daughter, perhaps the dying of his hair to the now trademark blonde. Perhaps it was getting his love of horses tattooed on his arm, the answer to why Charles has seemingly leveled up ever so tremendously in the past five years could be all of the above or none of them.
What can be quantifiable are a few absolutes. Death, Taxes, and Justin getting tapped in the second round are all but certainties in this world.
